Michigan’s Capital City offers a rich
automotive heritage as the birthplace of Oldsmobile and the home of the
two newest General Motors plants in the world.
Your stop in the Capital City region
is located right off historic 27 in the charming City of DeWitt. You’ll
arrive in the Lansing region around 4:00 p.m. and have time to hang up
your sunglasses and comb your windblown hair from the day’s drive.
There’s even time to take in a few of the sights and shops in the region
including the RE Olds Museum, Old Town, Michigan Historical Museum and
much more. Check out
www.lansing.org for further information or call 800-252-6746.

The Old 27 Motor Tour Show is the
featured event from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Local radio personalities will
announce your arrival into historic DeWitt
(www.dewittmi.org/dda)
Paul LeMat, Butch Patrick
and American Road Magazine
will be making appearances during the show and music will be provided by
the Sea Cruisers. We’ve got goody bags for all show participants and
a great time for everyone.
On Thursday morning, the Motor Tour
will meet at the new DeWitt Meijer for our departure. Thanks to DeWitt
Township and Meijer for the morning hospitality from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Enjoy coffee and rolls before heading out to St. John's.
